Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. As a child, she was exposed to many classical music and old Boleros. In addition, she was a fan of traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves tangos, operas and other theatrical performances. At age 16 she began to sing and study music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to give her more intense vocal instruction. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. She performed at Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young student and professional. After 2000, she emigrated into in the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then, in 2007, she returned to her new home in Southern California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. She is passionate about performing, music, as well as the arts keeps active in community projects in both her capacity as an artist and instructor. Ana is also a past member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of classic Latin American songs and hopes to encourage others to do the same.
